Tomasz Mizerkiewicz – the dean of the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. He graduated from Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, then he was scientifically associated with the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. He was the deputy director of the Institute of Polish Philology, then the vice-dean of the AMU Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology. Professor Mizerkiewicz conducts research on Polish literature of the 20th and 21st centuries, and is also a literary critic commenting on contemporary Polish literature. Editor-in-chief of "Forum Poetyki / Forum of Poetics" of a Polish and English-language scientific journal published online.
