Instytut Filologii Słowiańskiej zaprasza na serię wykładów (Non)standard in language - politics - culture.
12 grudnia (poniedziałek) o godz. 18:00 odbędzie się wykład profesora Marca Greenberga (University of Kansas, Lawrence, USA) pt. What is at stake with a Montenegrin standard language?
Opis wykładu:
In the post-Yugoslav context, the bipolar Serbo-Croatian standard language, centered around the two capitals, Belgrade and Zagreb, has yielded to the revival of an additional two renewed standardization projects, Bosnian and Montenegrin. Of these, the Montenegrin project remains the most highly contested, as it is abnegated by its detractors in both Serbia and Montenegro itself. The center of gravity of this project is not in the country’s capital, Podgorica, but in Cetinje, the old royal capital.
The talk will break down issues into several themes to convey the intersection of the heterogeneous realms of concern:
1. Substance. 2. Form. 3. Political allegiance. 4. Writing and philological traditions. 5. Relationship to other post-Yugoslav standardization projects.
